Melansir Screenrant, film Fantastic Beasts : The Secrets of Dumbledore merupakan film ketiga dalam prekuel Harry Potter setelah dua film sebelumnya, Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them dan Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Film ini mengambil latar waktu 1930-an dan mengeksplorasi keterlibatan Dunia Sihir dalam Perang Dunia II sebagai kekuatan Gellert Grindelwald yang terus berkembang pesat.

Untuk memulihkan perdamaian, Albus Dumbledore membangun tim yang dia percaya dipimpin oleh Newt Scamander untuk menghentikan Grindelwald.

Dalam film ini, Mads Mikkelsen berperan sebagai Grindelwald menggantikan Johnny Depp setelah diminta untuk mundur karena masalah dengan mantan istrinya, Amber Heard.

Sebelumnya, film ini sempat mengalami penundaan akibat Covid-19.

Film Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore bakal tayang di bioskop pada 15 April 2022 mendatang. (*)
